During your initial call, we will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. If what we discuss fits with what you have in mind, we can explore available booking times, so please have your diary/calendar handy.

Once a suitable time has been secured, we’ll email you important information to help you prepare for your time with us. Within this email is a link to our Dress Code to help you with clothing for your Portrait Session.

Your Portrait Experience starts with a relaxed and fun Portrait Session in one of our beautiful studios. Our experienced photographers, all trained by founder Mark Strachan, will create stunning images of you and your loved ones. This is a unique opportunity to include everyone in your portrait—after all, someone behind the camera at home often misses out on being part of your family’s memories! We aim to create a timeless full family portrait that you’ll treasure forever, followed by additional compositions once the main portrait is created and everyone is settled into the space. Our photographers will guide you through a variety of poses with each composition, ensuring we capture the perfect representation of your family.

Directly after your Portrait Session, you will be booking your Portrait Ordering Appointment.

To save you having to come back through traffic on another day, your Portrait Ordering Appointment happens in the comfort of your very own home via Zoom. During this Appointment, we will provide you with valuable advice in selecting your family’s portraits and we will ensure that what you decide is right for you, your family and your home. Even though you may finish early, please allow 90minutes for this appointment. We want you to make the right choices after all!

Our production process is a thoughtful and labour intensive journey. What truly sets us apart is that we do everything in-house, from the artistry and printing of your Artwork to personally hand-wrapping each finished portrait in protective film. Our skilled team oversees every detail, ensuring that your portraits are crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail, with multiple team members dedicated to maintaining exceptional quality throughout the process.

Immediately following your Portrait Ordering Appointment, each chosen image is carefully assessed, with adjustments made to colour, the brightening of eyes, softening of skin and the removal of blemishes and flyaway hair to ensure everyone looks their best. We aim to enhance the natural beauty of each portrait while staying true to the essence of those we photograph.

Firstly, for the safety of our staff and other clients, pets must remains on lead at all times. Our photographer will let you know when is the right time to remove the lead. We only ask this as in our many years of experience, some pets can get a little excited/nervous when in a new environment or around new people. So for everyone’s sake, we ask that they remain on lead until instructed otherwise.
